Yoga classes for beginners

Starting in January 2017, we offer two new Level 1 classes:

  • Tuesday morning at 9am (Ivan)
  • Tuesday evening at 8pm (Eveline)

In addition to those new classes, we also offer the following already existing Level 1 classes:

  • Monday morning at 9am (Ivan)
  • Wednesday evening at 6pm (Anzhelika)
  • Thursday evening at 8pm (Ivan)

All Level 1 classes are perfectly suitable for you if you want to start your yoga practise, and if you have no experience with yoga. In the Level 1 classes, we are working on the basic yoga postures (mostly standing poses, but also simple forward bends and backbends, as well as shoulder balance), and we take enough time to get to know the poses in detail.

Of course, you are also welcome to join our Level 1 classes if you have some yoga experience, but want to work on your yoga poses in a safe and systematic manner.

New level: Level 1-2
We are introducing a new level: Level 1-2. You can visit Level 1-2 classes if you have done Level 1 classes for a few months, or if you have experience with other methods of yoga. In the Level 1-2 classes we continue our work with the basic postures, but we also introduce more challenging poses and we work more intensely and longer on specific poses.

The following classes will be Level 1-2 classes:

  • Monday evening at 6pm (Ivan)
  • Tuesday evening at 6pm (Eveline)
  • Wednesday morning at 9am (Ivan)
  • Friday morning at 9am (Ivan)

If you followed a class last year which is now labelled as a Level 1-2 class, then you can of course continue attending that class. If you are not sure which level is the best for you, then come and talk to us.

Women’s Class
There will be a new class on Wednesday evening at 8pm, the “Women’s Class”. In the “Women’s Class” you will learn special poses and adaptations of poses for menstruation and menopause, and you will work on the flexibility and stability of the pelvis. The class is mainly for women, but men are also welcome. The class is taught by Anzhelika Florek.
